Swift County Jail Mugshots
Swift County jail mugshots are shown on the live LETG "In Custody" roster as a photo column. The roster is operated for current jail custody and displays booking-photo thumbnails beside other public booking fields. It is not a stand-alone mugshot gallery, a recent-bookings gallery, or a historical photo archive. The roster title and layout focus on people currently in custody at the Swift County Jail, so released people may no longer appear even if they were previously booked.
The Swift County LETG roster is free and does not require a login. It showed five current in-custody entries when inspected on June 18, 2026. The visible roster fields included photo, MNI, name, sex, age, booking number, intake date, charge lines, and bail or bond fields. Swift County Photo Column
The LETG roster photo column is the only official online mugshot display documented in the Swift County research. There are no visible search boxes, dropdowns, date filters, export links, profile tabs, or separate photo links. The roster is list-based. A reader can use browser find for a name, but the county page itself is not a searchable mugshot database.
No posted Swift County rule was found for how long a booking photo remains after release. The safest wording is that the roster is a current custody list and a photo may disappear when the person is released, transferred, removed from public display, or otherwise no longer shown on the list. Request Swift County Booking Photos
When a Swift County booking photo is not visible online, the request path starts with the jail and then moves to the county data request process. The Swift County Sheriff's Office and jail can be reached at 320-843-3133. The county data page explains that Minnesota government data is presumed public unless state or federal law classifies it otherwise. It also says the public may inspect public data free before deciding whether to request copies, and that copy charges may be allowed under the Government Data Practices Act.

The statute says booking photographs are public data, except where the same subdivision allows a law-enforcement agency to withhold access temporarily if release would adversely affect an active investigation.

Swift County Public Limits

For that reason, do not assume that the roster keeps a public photo after release, transfer, court disposition, expungement, or a change in data classification. A person who disappears from the public roster may still have court records, conviction-history records, jail records available by request, or state or federal custody records in other systems.
That lack of a posted retention promise is useful for search strategy. If the photo is needed for a public-records purpose, capture the identifying facts while the person is listed, then use the formal request route if the photo is later removed from the live roster. Swift County Mugshot Removal
Swift County research did not find a county mugshot removal form, a posted photo takedown rule, or any promise that a roster photo remains public after release. If a case is dismissed, sealed, or expunged, the record-clearing route is through the court and Minnesota law rather than a commercial removal process. Minnesota Statutes Chapter 609A governs expungement. Court status and eligibility should be checked in the criminal case file and with legal counsel when needed.
Use official public-record routes rather than outside photo-publishing sources for Swift County booking records. Federal and ICE Photos
Federal custody is separate from Swift County jail custody.
